3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrival at Juba International airport. Overnight In hotel Royal Palace. Relaxing, preparation and briefing day including passport registrations.
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Bor Town (2hours drive), have lunch while the guide clears up permits and also organise speed boat to the sudd Highland. You will experience the beauty of nature and various bird species and not excluding the Fishermen daily activities. Overnight in the tents with meals served by our senior chef.
You will wake up for sunrise, which is at 6:am local time. You will utilise this time to explore the villages of tribes living at the Highlands and also make your morning experience with the Fishermen. Thereafter, have breakfast and pack to cross to Awerial villages of Dinka . Evening experience of Dinka daily lifestyle and how they coexist with their Cattle. Overnight in tents with meals served. (3HOURS DRIVE).
After morning last photos with Dinka cattle herders, have breakfast, you will then drive for 3 hours to the mundari territory. Evening experience to witness the amazing mundari lifestyle and how they lovely coexist with their cows. Overnight In the tents with meals served.
You will wake up for your last morning photos experience with mundari and then drive to Juba for 40 minutes , check in hotel for day use to take cool bath or go for swimming, and then have your early lunch. Thereafter, you will then drive to the Eastern part of the country to Torit Town- capital of Eastern Equatoria,[3HOURS DRIVE]. Arrive and relax with a cup of coffee or cold drinks at Torit Hotel, while the guide clears up permits with the state authorities. After all is done, you will then continue for another 40 minutes drive to your final destination to Lotuko village of challamini. Evening nature walk to experience Lotuko daily lifestyle and witness one of the tallest grass huts in Africa. Overnight in the tents with meals served.
You will experience Lotuko traditional dance in the morning and after have breakfast and then drive to Buya Hills for [3HOURS DRIVE]. Packed lunch on the way. Evening walk through the LARIM most beautiful villages built by the mountain’s slopes. Larim commonly called Buya, is a group of people who are said to have come from Northern Ethiopia and speak same language with Didinga, tenet, murle and Suri tribe in Ethiopia. They up-to-date practice body scarification as a sign of beauty, and their main livelihood activities are subsistence farming and cattle keeping. Overnight in tents with meals served .
After the morning experience with Topotha, you will have breakfast and then pack and drive to the Lopet village of the Jie tribe. [3 HOURS DRIVE]. The Jie people are part of the Karamojong, they’re believed to have come from Northern Karamoja. They speak the same language as Topotha, Turkana and Nyangatoum of Ethiopia.Their main livelihood activities are subsistence farming and cattle keeping including hunting. You will experience Jie traditional dance and their ordinary beautiful huts. The Jie is organized according to animal groupings, each group of men and women name themselves according the certain animals of their origin. Eg. Antelope, ostrich, lion etc. Overnight in tents with meals served.
After breakfast, you will drive for[ 4 hours ] to Kapoeta Town. While on your way, you will stop at one of the Jie new villages to see how they build their huts. Arrive and have lunch at Kuleo Hotel. After that, drive back to Juba for 6-7 hours. Overnight in Hotel Royal Palace.
